Dolphin Suites & Wellness celebrates 'Spantenbier' phase 2

Willemstad, August 6, 2022 – Dolphin Suites & Wellness Hotel is building 38 new accommodation types, in addition to the 21 existing suites and rooms. With a flying flag and a glass of beer, we celebrate that the highest point of this new construction has been reached.

We are expanding the hotel with 4-person suites and 2-person rooms. Of these, 14 can be connected to create 6-person apartments. All are wheelchair accessible, just like the existing hotel. The adjustments in the hotel are beautifully combined with the attractive interior. This ensures that even guests without a disability feel at home. High-end interior specialist TKI Interior Design and the Interior Group from the Netherlands are helping us with this. 

Progress of phase 2

We use only high quality materials and apply environmentally friendly systems. Construction started in June 2021 with LB Construction as the contractor. MIC Consultancy is the architect of this new building. Furnishing will start in January 2023. We hope to welcome the first guests in the new rooms in April.

Expansion of facilities

The new lobby will be a nice space to gather. The combination of a restaurant and a cozy coffee bar is a valuable addition. In addition, there will be 3 rentable business spaces, a yoga terrace, a fitness and a separate therapy room. The tropical gardens with lounge seating and a children's playground connect phase 1 and 2 of the hotel.

We are excited and grateful for this expansion. Now we can offer not only a child with a disability and the family a place to rest. With the wellness, yoga classes with professional guidance and the different therapies we are expanding the target group. Guests in wheelchairs, people who are looking for development on a physical or mental level or longing for relaxation are going to feel at home with us.
